The day I met Bonnie it was love at first sight. And as my friend Susie noted, yesterday was a spectacular Autumn day here in the Northeast. So I’m very fortunate indeed to have spent the day with Bonnie. She didn’t disappoint – what an amazing bike. What an amazing day.
Locale: the Conference House…had to get down on one knee to get the shot. I think it was worth it. Hope you agree. Meanwhile there’s Ben Gay and ibuprofen.

My Bonnie showing off her centre stand and grab rail / luggage rack. Back in the day a centre stand came with the bike. No more – except for Enfield (and a luggage rack comes standard with the Himmi). So I made sure to get the stand and rack added on ($).
I found the trick to using the centre stand properly. Rather than rocking the bike up and back, as is the usual, you stand on the oversize foot pedal while facing forward and lift straight up. The Bonnie rocks back on her own. Clever girl! (I didn’t figure this out by myself – guys on the facebook Bonneville Owners Group clued me in).
