Inspired by Harry McGregor, from Scotland, who always does a really nice Macro Monday shot (on flickr).
This is a Honda Cap Bolt, part nr. 92501-06016A. It goes on the bottom of a motorcycle foot peg. It is there so when you hear it scrape the roadway you know your lean angle is too great and you could drop the bike. Some hooligan keeps scraping mine, on the LH side, so I keep replacing them. I buy them four at a time.
As for the spanner, the Englanders say it’s “ten mil”, the Indians say “ten em em.” And the Yanks: “how many inches is that?”
Like a bolt out of the blue, here’s a great song, a tribute to an American politician known for always working an angle. Coming late in their career, this is one of the best offerings from that little ole band from Scotland, Nazareth:

2002-2003 Triumph Bonneville T100 Centennial Edition. Model year is uncertain as a fire damaged the Triumph plant in March of 02 so manufacture was interrupted and some of the bikes were built in the 2003 model year after repairs were effected. 790cc with dual Keihin carburetors. The tank is original (Lucifer Orange and silver) as is the side panel with its battered Centennial badge.

I rode and wrenched all day yesterday and this was the last ride of the day after working on my Bonnie. Nice way to end the day. In fact my GoPro ran out of gas right after this.
The little girl had given me a thumbs up when she saw me stop to let her cross. She’s smiling here because I stopped a second time to say, “Ride safe Little Lady…”
